Greg, there was a thread determined to be "out of control" by the hall monitors so they decided to spoof it.

If you can buy a pic of Paris Hilton's monkey you can buy this boating video from FPC.

It's all about money.

probably just had water in his eyes. its not to often ex racers loose control of thier boats at a moderate speed on a pr unless they have water in thier eyes or have been crying. probably just operator error.

Re: KW Poker Run

I think most have been informed of both sides of the story. From what I've heard from people that have seen the video, it doesn't really show much, just two boats bumping into each other.

But for all of those that jumped on the "Phil's a d!ck" band wagon with out hearing the other side of the story.....Just shows the mob mentality, small minded people on here that need others to form their opinions for them.

Well, at the risk of having the thread deleted but attempting to put the questions to rest, this is it in a nut shell....

LubeJob posted on Sat. that Phil had maliciously rammed his (his comstumers) 42X Cig into Lubejobs Spectre on Fri while running down to KW from Miami. The thread read as if Phil was out of control and enraged at Lubejob because, as the thread said, Phil got sprayed by Lubejobs Spectre. People were upset on OSO and the next thing you know the thread is out of control with people basically wanting to start a lynch mob to go to Miami and hang Phil up for such things as reckless boating to attempted murder! The thread went three pages of Phil bashing without a person giving the other side of the story.

The thread was deleted because as the rules and regs state (that we all read when signing up for OSO), you cannot slander/name call, cuss, threaten, etc. etc. etc. in threads.

Then everyone started b!tching about the thread getting deleted and a few more threads were deleted because arguments started on basically every thread that had the subject brought up.

In some of the satalite threads the other side of the story was brought out that Lubejob was witnessed by several FPC members as swerving back and forth across the channel and spraying Phil down at least twice. On the third attempt of cutting in front of Phil, Phil held his line (the right/starboard line, which by the way, coast guard regs state has the right of way) and the starboard sponson of Lubejobs Spectre struck the port rear of the Cig. Yelling, fingure waving and other unpleasantries insued and the police were called once they got to Gilberts.

The police watched the video, heard both sides of the story and decided it was not a criminal matter except for the part where they heard Lubejob threatening Phil at the docks. The police asked Phil if HE wanted Lubejob arrested for threats but Phil declined. Once all boats arrive in KW, Lubejob comes onto OSO claiming a lawsuit will follow. He later posted pictures of the damage but all that was seen was about two rolls of duct tape plastered all over the starboard sponson. After those pictures surfaced someone posted pictures of the Spectre while is was in the water. The second pictures showed three or four 2-4 inch scratches near the rubrail of the Spectre. I saw the 42X and it had a small rub mark and a small nick near the port/rear rubrail.

There's the story in an extreme nuttshell with out giving too much of my own bias. Opinions are like a$$holes, everyone's got 'em and most stink. But in the end it'll all be handled by the two parties involved and there's really not much more on the subject.

Now, read this quick before it goes bye-bye.

This won't be settled on OSO. Even in this thread we have a lot of "I heard" type comments.

Taking sides for one good buddy or another won't accomplish anything other than hurt feelings and yet another flame war.

Ultimately this one will be sorted out by those involved and their attorneys. :(

Re: KW Poker Run

I have no idea where you guys got your info. I almost got arrested?? Where did you get that?? Swerving in and out?? I hope everyone here remembers each of these accusations. All I can say is you guys are not even close. Lets just say the Judicial system will figure out the truth. I have the video, the police report, several Eye witnesses and even a well know by everyone, well respected expert witness.
Phil claimed I wet him "3" times. To tell you the truth, I can't say it did or didn't happen. We got wet on one part of the run. But if he got wet 3 times by me, Sounds like he was in a bad spot. You would think an experienced, EXracer would not put himself in that position especially in a fun, safe Poker run that we never saw over 74 MPH until we hit the ocean in Marathon. This wasn't a race. It was a nice, relaxing, run.

So the next time someone dosen't drive to your liking on the highway, RAM HIM!

Please let me know who said the police were going to arrest me and asked Phil but he said no. That is an absolute lie.

QUOTE: The thread went three pages of Phil bashing without a person giving the other side of the story

Most of the Phil bashing on the last post were on past incidents people encountered with him.

P.S. We called the Police to meet us at Gilberts .

You guys may want to check your facts and be nice, you never know who may end up being the new Cigarette dealer in the near future.

well that sucks, I was hopeing he would not have an excuse for why we outran him on the outside on the way down. those scratches probably slowed him down and the aerodynamics of the duck tape probably made it handle the rough worse

we got sprayed down by extreme exhibit we were going to ram him but figured the mafia would come after us or we would hit his boat and ours would sink because his is so big
