We feel your pain Biggus! 80 something when we left KW, 16 this morning when I went to work :( Next week will be better Im sure ..... Now we can start getting ready for Christmas :eek: :D

Hey Fred,

We were 1st in points heading into the last race on Sunday. We got swarmed by a bed of weeds on the seawall before the race, and had some left over on the drives when we left for the milling area. We thought we had them cleared off, but at the green flag we could only see 65pmh. About half way out to checkpoint 1, we launched it a couple of times and cleared off the weeds, and we were able to make speed after that. But it was too late, everyone else was gone. And, unfortunately, Sunday is not the day to have a bad one.

We finished 4th overall in points for the week.

On a side note, those KPM sea water pump conversions performed great, even with the strainers chock full of weeds. We watched the water temps for the whole race, never budged from 155.

We had a great time in Key West, and entertaining the Konrad team was a joy. Fred, Kurt, Randy, Amy... Great folks. Doing business with them is a pleasure, but getting to know them on a personal level is a blast.
