Fountain Question

Did Fountain make a 38' Lightning in the early to mid 90's. All I can find are Fevers in that length for those years?

Re: Fountain Question

The answer to your question is no, if my memory is correct it was 97 or 98 when the Fever was phased out in favor of the Lightning.

Re: Fountain Question

The Fever was made up to 99. The Lightning started in 2000.

The 38 Fever was in production thru the 2001 model year. I have a 2000 38 Fever.

The 2000 and 2001 lightnings have the smaller steps. In 2002 the 38 Lightning was matched with the second generation hull with the bigger steps.

In 2003 one 38 Fever was made at the special request of a customer - it had the second generation hull. So I am told, the customer, not used to the bigger steps, rolled it the first time out.
