Heading to Havasu

I'm off to Lake Havasu for a couple of weeks. What airport should I fly into that would be closest to the lake?

Thanks,

Kurt

Or Phoenix. Its a longer drive, (2.5 hours) but straight and easy. It may be a cheaper airport to fly into, especially if you can fly Southwest.

There is a airport in LAke Havasu, check with your travel agent as to where you need to come from. I think there are flights from phoenix, and ontario, california. And the planes have actual engines and not rubber bands

You're better off flying into Vegas and renting a car, it's only about 1.5 hours drive.

and if you land in vegas, by the time you rent a car and get out of town it will take 3 to 4 hours

Thats what we do......it seems to be the fastest with more flight availablity / car rentals as well. The HAVASU airport is small and cannot handle commercial flights.......You can also take a private plane from EXECUTIVE airport in VEGAS directly to the HAVASU airport if you do not want the drive.

Paul havasu has come out of the stone age, their are commercial flights into havasu now. His travel agent should be able to find them.
