Believe it or not I met "Snorky" back around 1968. I was only about 7 years old and he was at my dad's car dealership getting his VW bug fixed. He asked my mom if she ever saw that TV show. I went 'banana's".
I even asked him for his autograph - his real name was Jimmy Dove. I think I still have that autograph around here somewhere...I loved those guys.
