I've heard of piston oiling issues because of the length of time a boat motor runs. They do work well in drag race motors though.. Heard of surprising HP gains on a dyno.

We run them on our race engines. Add about 10-15HP on a natuarally asprirated engine. Remember that everything has to be sealed up really well. Intake, valve covers, oil pan for things to work well. Sometimes requires use of silicone in alot of places. Also you will have to run a vented catch can that need empoed every 3-10 hours depending on how your engine runs.

Not a good pick for an endurance engine.Piston oilers help, but cylinder walls and wrist pins starve for oil when you pull too much vacuum out of the engine.

Thanks for the info, I'm not trying to increse HP but control some blow-by. One of my engines has only 20 hrs on it and is out of warranity. I don't want to have to pull it for a rebuild yet, it was just replaced 6 mos ago.
