Oh it's fast. Cyclone has also run over 170 MPH.
In reality we never imagined this model would see those kinds of speeds. Of course we encourage our customers to take every single safety precaution possible. The boat handles the speed but I don't know of anything that would save you if something were to happen.
So in a nutshell, let's be careful out there...PLEASE!

Yes but I have not seen any MTI's run with this cat and also 1075 are sell out motors they sound lame compared to the motors he has in his nor-tech. Keith builds awesome motors keep them lit and next year will see if we can run any closer to you on some of the poker runs.

Gator, congrats on the speeds. Cyclone only ran 173 MPH w/ the quad rotors. Gators is a much newer better setup boat. We were in the process of building a new 36 Canopy NorTech w/ PSI supercharged EFI engines and 2 speed air shift transmissions, all of which were damaged in the hurricane, as our shop was completely destroyed. We took over 10 ft of water. The boats are all OK, but engines were all scrapped. We purchased all new tools from Snap on, and have moved in to our new building. We have began building engines again, and will be out in some of the new boats next summer. The toughest thing we've dealt with is that the majority of our guys lost their houses and everything in them. We apologize to all of our customers for any inconveniences, but we had to secure our families first, now we're back in business. We would greatly appreciate the consideration of anyone needing quality rigging, service or engines.

I am ready to see how Gatorone's new boat is going to run. Just think how he got the 36 to run to compared to what he could do with a faster lighter hull.Thats going to be something to see
