Update: Her early morning surgery happened at 5pm (of course...) Everything was a success and the Dr's say that she is 80% out of the woods. The issue now is to monitor & wait for signs of "vaso-spasms" or something like that. They can occur between day 3-10 after the surgery. Apparently the vessels in the brain don't like blood around them and sometimes contract & shut off blood flow & can then cause a stroke. Strange, but that's what they said.
Anyway, please keep her in your prayers during her recovery and thanks again for everything so far.

Glad she is dong well. Had a patient/wife stop back into the ED and thank me after flying him out to the University of Michigan Hospital for same type of thing. He had surgery and later had no residual deficits. Prayers with her.
