Boating around the Washington, N.C. area
My wife is considering relocating us to NC. She works at an office now, but they have a position where she can work from home for the same company. We were thinking about the Pamlico river area. Her local office down there is in Durham, but she'd only have to go there 1-2 times a month. So hows the living in this area? We would keep our current home in Cape Cod, MA until we were settled in. Maybe even staying at Whichard beach while we search for land and/or house. I'm flexiable on work, been at Ford for 12 years, maybe I'll look for something part time. Anyone from the area that can shed some info good or bad. Thanks, LJ .. Oh ya what about the boating?

Other than the Fountain factory there is NOTHING there! I mean NOTHING. There are only 2 places to eat and even then good luck. Try going south a little to the Wilmington area.

Is the washington area unpopulated? I was under the impression that it was a buzy place. Coming from the Cape area with triple population in summer and long commutes, nothing sounds right up my alley, would I have to buy a fountain to fit in
