Your headaches are coming from the big power.
Yours is one of the hottest looking 42's out there.
The chicks can't tell if your boat will do 75 or
95 mph. Throw some 525's with xr drives in it
and start enjoying life again!!!!!

I agree, if you can keep it, keep it. Sold the last boat to buy a new house, now have 4yr old, 2yr old and twins on the way. Going to be a while til I'm out there again. Not complaining but life can make having the priveledge to own these things more difficult. The times that I've had on my boats and the times I've shown others are worth every single penny!!!! To satisfy myself, I'll be back at the Miami show again this year!!

Mark, Been in the same spot you are, but 10x Frankie) said it well. I think about doing the same thing this time of year. mostly because im bored. I have maintenence issues like everybody else, but i dont have a beatifull boat like yours. Mine is a 79 and its only 30ft. I may only get to run it with the chicago power boat club a couple times a year. Those are the times i enjoy and look forward to. When my kids were small we used a boat alot, then no boat. When i did get another one, the kids and i work on it together. I drive over the road for a major transportation company and have less time to enjoy what most people take for granid. I get tired of spending money on the old barge but its worth every bit of aggrivation when lite the motors up or i get to watch my son get enjoyment from running it at a club event or running it at loto. Good luck , maybe ill run into ya at the boat show. Brian Miller

Thanks for the support guys....
It might be the winter blues and all those other nice boats in the Key West Pics I've seen on here.
I need to get out there more like LOTO and such.
Frank, I'll give you a call this evening...I think I listened too much to our buddy over the weekend.

Big, Big power!!!!! There's the problem. Get your drives fixed right and throw some 525's in it and run all day long without the worries of something breaking apart...

What are you going to do?

Stay home and talk with your wife....

$100k sounds cheap to avoid that.
