Default Spectre 30 I/O W/ 500's

Dropped my 2002 Spectre 30 off at the factory this Friday.

This is the boat I set the APRA Kilo record with in Little Washington, NC at 111.56 MPH.

Jay is building me a new 36 Spectre and he will be looking to find my old boat a home.

So, if anyone is looking for a extra clean freshwater boat on a Myco trailer, this may be your chance.

The new boat is going to have the 625 Ilmor's and some killer paint. I'll post pictures as they come along.

Congratulations on the new 36. Should be sweet with the Illmors.

Chuck:

Met you at Lake Cumberland this summer and we talked about your 30 and you going to the 36 Nortech. Looks like you are fixing to do an engine upgrade. Word is Ilmor has some 800's coming our very soon.

Sonny, I tried to call you prior to me posting this message. I talked with the new manager at Ilmor today and he said there is no plan to release or are they working on any 800's at this time. They too have heard the rumors and he gave me permission to post that there are no 800's at this time. They may work on bigger power at a later date, but there is, (quote " no 800's on the horizon" ) The new man in charge at Ilmor is very customer oriented and has a very impressive background in boating. Ilmor is an engine manufacturer that will be here to stay. The mans name is Michel Berryer. I hope I spelled it correctly. We talked for almost an hour this afternoon and he wants feedback from the public as to what Ilmor can do to further its presence in the marine market. I can personally tell you that he Ilmor is the "real thing"
I too am disappointed that there is not a bigger power to be had from this company, but they will not release anything without extensive testing and a proven product. You can expect no less from them. When a new product is released you can bet it will be top-of-the-line equipment.
He will be monitoring this website for further input.
Congratulations Sonny on your new purchase with the new 36 Spectre. I can not wait for a ride.
