I'm not just doing it for the taxes. We've been talking about it for 4 years now. We were looking in NC. But have some friends that have moved to Myrtle Beach. I checked it out during the fall bike week. And then went back with the family for Thanksgiving. We liked it a lot. I have a son who will be going into 8th grade next year, so I like the fact that it had a lot of stuff to do there. NC was a little too laid back for a kid. I have been checking out the school system there and it looks real good. My job here is looking for lay-offs so I am thinking of taking my 45 weeks pay and putting the house up and going. I hope to be down there for my son to start school next year. Now I'll just have to see what I want to be when I grow up I was told by some of the builders down there that the increase in sales tax and repeal of the property tax is just about a done deal. Maybe they were trying to make a sale?

Gary C that sounds great. Schools are top notch even we're rated near the bottom in the country. Those students just don't want to try which is the problem. Nothing finer than living in Carolina.

Not hi-jack this thread, but Praetorian, where are you in FWB?
I'm pretty much working here full time out on Hurlburt Field, and NEXT year I might be looking @ bringing up the boat for some R+R! I know one other guy here who has a 2000 Donzi 28 ZX, he works here with me as well.
