Re: Nordic
Nice boat, handled the chop in Long Island Sound well to a point, 4's and above I didn't bother. Entry angle could be sharper for rough conditions, not sure what type of waters your boating in. Cabin room is unparalleled in a 28', cockpit room is excellent too. I moved the bolsters up 3" to make it more comfortable to drive (I'm 5'11"). Angled footrest would be nice. Construction and fit & finish is way above average. In gel graphics are dated (at least they were when I purchased in 2001). Sun pad is angled a bit too much for hanging comfortably, but we managed. Bag the carpet and go with the fiberglass liner. Stainless steel rails are made in house and are nicer than any boat on the market, shape and craftsmanship outstanding. If you're in salt water, DON'T BUY THE NORDIC TRAILER...go with an aluminum model from a different manufacturer. For some incredibly stupid reason if you get the carpet model, they run the carpet into the engine compartment (gimme a break), that's why I suggest the liner model. I ripped up the carpet and installed Lonseal flooring in the cockpit and diamond plate in the engine compartment. Stunning boat and you'll get tons of thumbs up and looks from people. 68 max with the 496HO. Overall, great boat in the 28' range and I wouldn't get a different boat if I had to do it all over again.

These are great boats for cheap people. Lots of bang for the buck (appearance/performance/funtionality). One of my best friends has one and he's too cheap to even insure it ........................
Check out the Nordic forum for a LOT more information.

Re: Nordic
ditto on the angle, it's primarily a lake boat, just like my 30 Kachina was. Doesn't have the angle to cut the chop so you do alot of flying ( tabs would help) .

Very nice boat. I like mine, it is a lot of boat for the $. Indy has hit most of the high points on the boat. The boat handles very well, I run in Lake Michigan and it does great. Check out the Nordic forum for more info.
