The meeting with the lake task force and DGIF went very well.Don't think a speed limit or a noise restriction will pass the G.A. at least not at this time.The speaker said and i quote voluntary education doesn't work.well we had 51 people show up on a sat. for 5 hrs. and had taken the test with the coast guard.Isn't that 51 more then the week before that was educated with the boaters course? refer to www.smpba.com for more info on this.

Glad to hear it went well, I planned on attending monday, but it was postponed and I closed on a house and have been moving all day tuesday.
Oh and I took that CG class about 2-3 years ago, good class

The part about them bringing up the website "OFFSHOREONLY.COM" and everybody on there refering to the task force as "on golden ponders", "old farts", "old azz's" and our favorite "blue hares" with an E
