One of the fort lauderdale police stations is literally 20 feet away from that ramp! This is their base where there are usually 5 to 15 watercop boats at the dock!!!
What was this guy thinking?
Most times, the most obvious is the least obvious. Maybe he thought if all looked normal then nobody would question his actions. If the cops weren't already watching him he probably would have gotten away with it....right under their noses.

The last time I pulled into Port Everglades I got stopped and searched. A deputy waved me over and when I stopped two divers with automatic weapons in a zodiac, a DEA boat, a Coast Guard boat and chopper surrounded me. They searched my boat and checked my documentation papers and held me for about fifteen minutes.

The sad thing is they looked so disappointed when they had to let me go.
That means they were expecting a boat load to come in, but didn't exactly know which boat to hit.

Exactly Iggy, and probably wasn't the first time he (or anyone) has done that before, either

Still not too smart, no matter where you decide to unload

From what I read and hear only about 5% of the incoming drugs are stopped and it's usually by a convict getting his sentence reduced by becoming an informant.
The small-time guy gets caught, police get their headlines, public feels better that some drugs are not on the streets. Everybody goes home happy except the small-time guy who was caught.

Baretta theme song still rings true: "Don't do the crime if you can't do the time."

This guys posture is all wrong, Rambo poses will do one thing, get you killed. He should be at the "high ready" position and near some cover. Amateur hour.

Without seeing an overall picture I would guess he is simply on perimeter security. Nothing wrong with it... actually, it's quite "un-Rambo".

His Left hand is in his pocket and he is in the wide open, without going into my personal credentials to back up my opinion it's pretty clear this guy is a noobie or just untrained.
