If people want cargo ins, they can go pay full price, I just do this as a sevice for people that want a deal because I am going that way anyway. I am willing to take the risk and so are they, no false claims here. I have turned down things I didn't feel comfortable hauling because of there value.

Re: FL to NY empty truck

well you get what you pay for. If you wreck your truck and someones boat is behind you there is no coverage for the boat. If you had cargo I could give you help. Sometimes I can not figure out how that someone could spend half a million for a boat and take a chance on insurance just to save a small amount of money. Also if you are caught crossing state lines for hire without an ICC authority that is a federal offence. Just my 2 cents

Re: FL to NY empty truck

hugetime please understand I have nothing against you personally. I give quotes to people all of the time for the movement of their boat. but I carry the proper insurance and authorities so that if there is a problem the owner of the boat does not have to worry. If someone gives you a boat to haul with any value and you get into a wreck then everyone again hears the complaints of a trucker not having the proper insurance.

Bgchuby has towed my boat three times including right now. Its a 2006 Dragon $400,000+. I would not think of letting someone pull my boat without proper insurance coverage. Unless of course they have a much bigger check book than I and that person wired the full value of my boat to my account prior to hooking it to their truck. :drink:

Jeff I can't wait to see you on Monday.

So, it was addiction. Seems like the perfect time for a public azz beating. Hugetime, ww will hold him and you can take the first .......make that 10 shots. :D

Hugetime, you did not offend anyone. I think you should wait a few months for addiction to forget about his trangressions and play a prank on him. For instance publicly outing him as a card carrying "Gayliner" owner.  :drink:

100% agree Eric. I really wouldn't let anyone else but Jeff tow our Top Gun. By the way, your Dragon is unbelieveable.

Re: FL to NY empty truck

hugetime nobody said that you could not drive, what myself and eric and lucky strike are saying is that they would only give their boat to a legal hauler with the proper insurance. Which you have said that you do not have. I just hope that the boats you tow don't have an accident, otherwise I hope that you have a big checkbook and from the pictures of your boat I don't think that is the case, so good luck.

You crack me up. BTW, lets get the number right, 94 mph not 90 mph. With stock motors every mph counts. LOL :D :D Seriously Addiction, you have one sweet ride. How long have you had it? Do you have #6's or the Weissmans? A friend of mine went with the Weissmans and is now replacing them with #6 on his 3600. You intereseted in hauling that beauty out to SoCal for the SCOPE Poker Run next August? Its a great time and lots of bad azz hardware like yours.

See ya.

Re: FL to NY empty truck

hey what the wtf is the deal, I did not start any trouble here. bgchubby just hates the fact that some people use me at half the price twice a year. I look at it like this, I am a risk taker, and some other people are too. they will take there chances with me because they will save 2g's . trust me there boat is safer with me than some of these fools on the road that work for guys like you because i treat the boat like it is my own and I don't need to rack up miles to make a living so when I get tired I stop. I just towed one down for an other member for 800 bucks and his boat got there unharmed and he saved 1500 oh and it got there 10 days early.
