Miami Boat Show - Help Me Out...
 

We are booked again for the boat show this year and I'm looking forward to seeing a lot of our old friends down there in February.

But I need some help. We are bringing a couple with us that are in the market for a BRAND new 38 Top Gun or 42 Tiger. He is the owner of a large GM auto dealership and is VERY serious about buying a new Cig.

His wife just called me and because he is one of those guys that has everything except for that new boat, she wants to put a "Gift Certificate" in his Christmas stocking stating that he has a ride reserved at the boat show on a Cigarette.

If someone could steer me in the right direction to get this arranged, or get me in touch with the dealers that will have Cigarettes at the show so I could set this up for her it would be MUCH appreciated, and should be worth while for the dealer.

All the dealers will be at the Cig booth for the show. They will have boats in the water for demo rides. If your seriuos about buying a Cig I would pick a dealer out that you intend on buying from and go that route. Im sure you could get a demo ride from them

Everyone else is just a dealer, Phil is a builder. If your guy is a car guy he will want to know the ins and outs of the boat, engine, drive, etc. Phil is your guy, no one else

Why spend a rediculous amount of money on a new one when you can buy a clean, low hour used one for alot less money? :cool:

Adding to that :

Choose the dealer that is closest to your friend for ease of service after the sale.

every boat needs service. find the best service nearest the boats home and buy from there. phil is in miami btw.

For a new boat, Phil is the only guy I would deal with. That includes Cigarette direct. He will take extra good care of you and make sure your purchase is a good one.

Actually,not necessary. Any Merc dealer can service the motor and drives. Almost all warranty on the boat other than Merc should go back to the factory for proper repairs.Most dealers will send you back to the factory including Phil.

It is all set up and she is VERY happy. I spoke to many very nice folks today on the phone and now I just hope to see a new Cig on Lake Norman next summer.

A friend sent me pics of a 2005 Top Gun Phil built. As Randy Wild said, "Phil is not just a dealer, he is a builder." He goes above and beyond when be builds a new boat. Everyone just seems to get better and better. Way to go Phil!
