The OL simply costs more than it is worth. Then once you get it, the non-standard power costs and costs. Engines that last only 60 - 100 hours? Rebuilds that cost 100k? If you gave it to me I would not want to keep it going. Very sexy piece. I'll struggle the 38 I am waiting on or take a 42 with 525's. Oh yes, the 38 with 575's and Super Chillers does 106 in fresh water, looks great and handles pretty much all the snot most people want to see. I voted Fountain and also would take the 400 large.

Got it! I could care less either way. I am not going to have either. I can't imagine what they are going to want for the cat they are building.

the question of the poll is which would you rather be seen in/own? not which one you would pay for,or which one you want to maintain.... they both have the same drive train, and cost isn't a issue... and you still rather have the inferior rigging and quality? :rolleyes: i'm not a vee guy but i know which one i rather have if i had the choice...

I voted Outerlimits just on looks alone. Chicks will pay more attention to the bling of an OL anyday! :evilb:

I voted OL. Look good, perform good. Just a far superior build. The interiors are modern, the rigging top shelf. They are not on every corner, like a Fountain is either.

By the looks of the silhouette of the Fountain in the water, gets my nod. It just looks likes its fast and not even moving

Bad comparison,in your example the most expensive
hand built is faster.......not so in the O.L. vs. Fountain
debate. As a matter of fact,this pole is assinine. If
they were in the same price catagory it would be one
thing. Since an O.L is about twice the price, The
pole should be.... which would you rather have,for
the money!
