344 hustler vs 31 sonic

besides the the 3ft difference and the hustler being faster with same power, how do the 2 compare with ride , cabin height and space etc. ?

not many of the 344's around, cool boats,but the 31's cabin is hard to beat!

I like the Sonic, I have only been in one 344 and 1 388 Hustler and the were both fast but kinda sketchy feeling at high speeds. The Sonic is rock solid. A 31 with 525's should run mid 80's if you set it up right.

If it were my money, it would be a 31 Sonic. The 344 Hustler is a really sweet boat, but it would be very tough to give up the solid ride and feel of a Sonic to go to a Hustler. The Hustler is built for speed. The Sonic is built to allow for a bit rougher conditions. The Hustler's cabin is a lot more 'compartmented' in look and feel, compared to the Sonic.
