Re: Quick Ford Truck purchase advice please:
$22.9 is high for that amount of milage (59K) ...if all else is PERFECT on the truck 20K should be the top dollar for it. Keep looking....the big truck market is a buyers market now that fuel prices have jumped over $ 2.30 a gallon.

Re: Quick Ford Truck purchase advice please:
Thanks guys. I think they sold it, and they were not budging on price or my trade. I think if I am willing to drive 6 hours to get a truck, I am going to drive 6 hours South and not North (further into winter salted roads territory). I don't want to rob a dealer from profit, but I don't think they deserve to make $5K off of me either; not unless they were jumping through hoops.

Craig, I don't need another new truck. Its just going to sit there 5.5 days a week anyhow. I bought my current truck with 0.0% in 2002.
Robbie, Sorry, but I would not cross the street to piss on a fire at Shelor Auto Mile. I drove 600 miles to look at a car that was thrashed when I got there, capped off with the salesman was 1 hour late.

I have pulled the carfax, and it shows one minor accident 35,000 miles ago. It has a 4.10 rear end. I had an OSO member look at the truck, and he said its clean and straight.
