They use to use them at daytona in the legends race a few years back very depenable but to compare it with a real sportbike is a little too much more of a sport tour bike
can get them on the side too much too many things in the way to hit on the ground

I sold my 2003 R1150R on ebay a couple of months ago. I didn't use it but 6 times all of last year (and insurance was $1,000) so it was time. Hated to see it go but the money is better spent on other things.... like the boat.

BMW makes a great bike and used ones are amazingly inexpensive for what you get.

i wouldn't own a shaft drive bike if ya gave one to me. the elavator syndrome when you get on and off the throttle. just my .02 notice the new bikes are belt driven

Never cared for the Bimmers, but I do appreciate German engineering.
I just sold my MZ Black Panther Supermoto a couple months ago.

Although you can still feel it coming out of a tight turn under heavy throttle, it's not nearly as bad as it use to be.
