525 longblocks

Has anyone done business with sterndrive inc. They have 525 longblocks mercruiser remanufactured for $6400. Add $500 for intake. $6900.00 Is that a good price?

I am not 100%, but I thought the 525 was a 454/420HP with a weiand 177 blower and different carb. If this is true, the long block they are selling is basically a 420HP 454 minus the blower and carb. Look into it.

If they are 525efi's than I would buy all I could for $6900.

lucky strike just bought two new long block 525's from TNT Marine for his Cig. He got a great deal and was very happy with the service. They installed the engines.
