As a last resort I have used laquer thinner. It temporarily softened the vinyl, but there were no long lasting effects and it got rid of the stain.

Shell's Nautilaus boat cleaner or Castrol Super Clean will remove grease stains like nothing. Rinse with water after and use normal protectant.

Zep Manufacturing sells a gel called Orange Gel Degreaser. I buy it by the drum. it will instantly take grease off of anything/disolve asphalt....ect...ect... as long as you dont leave it sit too long it wont harm the vinyl, however it will take off cheap paint and the finish off of some plasics.
Also Fantastik works extrememly well, thats all I ever use to clean my vinyl.
