With all of the software options out there, you can just about convert a photo to look like a painting.

But a painting will eliminate the other boat wakes - plus get you some bigger waves and better air.
I used to do watercolor paintings of boats years ago (did one for CrazyRythm - used a pic of the boat on the trailer and painted it launching off a wave) and I think $300 for an oil painting is fair. Oil paints are pretty pricey and much more difficult to control.
PS Kenny Youngblood is an AWESOME motorsports artist. I met him when he was crew chief for F1 boat racer Scott Gillman, before Scott left to race for the United Arab Emirates.
I've got a couple of signed posters done by Kenny. Just beautiful.
