Wife and kids have been on me to get a pool and my answer will always be the same...

We have a 42' island we do not need a pool. Besides I enjoy taking care of the boat .... cleaning a pool (altough they say they would do it... never would happen) ranks way up there with getting a root canal and blowing up an engine...

Word to the wise... Get a good contractor with references. Be prepared for a mess in the yard until the project is completed. If you plan on this year, do it now, as the project could take 4 months or more.

Here is a before and after.

I just got out of the pool! Can't beat having a pool (or Jacuzzi)!

Lp,
Coming from someone who has both, it's better when somebody pees in your pool rather than your boat!! Go for it!!
