It's about 55 deg here on Long Island NY and I'm off to the boat ramp to run the Motion ... :D

I'm really F#$%ing pissed off. I could not get the boat in the water due to it being dead low tide. The cat would not float off the trailer. We'll I'm off from work tommorrow so I will put it in when the tide is right . It's only supposed to be high 40's, but what the hell.


Dean, I will be down in Feb. for the race and the boat show. If I don't bring the cat down I want a ride on your Boat................ :drink:


Greg, I bought a 30 ft Motion cat with 2.5 race offshore 's about 3 months ago. just another toy............. :evilb:

Well , we went for a ride today, it was about 48 deg and sunny . This
is a first for me , boating on Long Island in the middle of January. The boat ran great , we might even go out again on friday it's supposed to be 60 deg. Here is a few pictures.... :D

How fast is the motion?Down here I have a lot of calm protected water,a cat would be awesome!Trying to get jimmy down(spectre)here.We would be the only 2 go fasts around!

A Buddy of mine was down at Tappen Beach and told me the boat looked awsome. Congrats and have fun with her.. Wish I was boating today and yesterday also.

Kitten, It was just me and a friend out there playing around , I did not want any other people with us in case of any problems. The water is only 40 deg. Hey you never know , you might see that boat in p-class this year :eek:

Tom, I'd be interested to see how that boat runs in the normal type of waters we get around here. ya know, during the busy summer days where the OL still could be overkill.
I see it was flat the day you went out.

Tom,

I asked my buddy if he talked to you and he told me he was sitting in the car watching. I told him the day before after I read the post at the begining. Then he told me the next day he saw you out there. His exact words were I can't believe this guy went out two days in Jan. and his boat and mine for that matter are put away and winterized..
