One thing to note if anyone is thinking of resurrecting it!
The cabin has an inner liner.(Floor & Sides) Should make real easy for cleaning once you unsnap the interior.
Hard part would be getting the liner down and replacing it.

Just a thought! It is not like it was all carpeted through out. Now that would be tough!

What would be a good price to offer for that boat? I wouldn't mind having another project.

$3500 was the starting bid.

That would be a steal if you got it for that!!!

Wouldn't you be able to just shove some type of plug or something in the gimble bearing in a situation like this where a drive comes off to stop or at least slow down water coming in?

keep in mind that the fuel tank has a hole in it. i went down this weekend and looked at it and the motors are locked up too. it is a mess had troble just looking at it . but the boat is still in nice shape. it would be a boat to sell for parts i think.

A t-shirt usually does the trick!

Seriously, that's all it would have taken.

that gimble ring failure is very common on race boats seems to come from hard turns and rough water can cause the pins to wear the ring ( we check for play every time out of water) it doesn't" just happen" unless you hit something or violent spin out , I have seen that six times this year alone in 8 races , we did it in corpus cristi looks like helmet failed which took out the gimble ring bent steering rams , bent trim rams, broke upper drive housing , exploded the U-joints , bent imput shaft, etc.

Is This The Same Boat?

Yes it's the same boat. Get a survey if you are intrested in it!

I asked the seller if it had sank. They would not answer the question. All they said was it was the cleanest Powerplay out there and they had over 70K into it. Looks like it has the same motors in it though.
