Great friends.... I would think they wouldn've stuck together on that trip, especially with him in his boat alone.

When I take a leak the boat is off or in neutral so this isn't going to happen to me. I went over to Bimini in a group last year and was the only one wearing a PFD/ lanyard. I would rather look stupid than drown. When I came back, I came with a 36 Gladiator and we ran 100 yards apart right back to the boat ramp. Just for you non- Florida guys the trip to the Bahamas is only like 60 miles so plenty of people do it alone. Leave Bahamas and go West, you will hit Florida in an hour. This sucks for him and his family.

forget idling away - how about boat in fast circles and your trying to dive deep enough to void the drives every minute or so!

he was supposedly out in front, and they lost sight of him, I say his buddies need faster boats.

Latest as of the Palm Beach 10:00 News, It was a brand New 38 Donzi fishboat with triple outboards, Coast guard believes he had trouble with one of the motors, and got tossed overboard while tinkering with it.
