I may be interested but before committing I'm going to call Max worx as their billet lower is supposed to have a double lower vert shaft bearing that helps to eliminate shaft/gear flex and failure. I went from standard length sportmasters to -2 imco polished shorties and picked up 5 mph on my 38 Fountain fever running 525 efi's. I'm happy as heck with them, although my water pressure shot through the roof. Looks like I'll need to add relief valves and sea strainers next season after switching to the imco's.
