Chairman of the board was a Cougar, not a CUV. It was sold out of Rochester, NY not so long ago, so I would be surprised if it found it's way to Italy already. The buyer got the hull and 4 Lamborghini engines to go with it.

Rick,

It was Feruccio Lamborghini who was making tractors. Lamborghini is world-renowned for their tractor making. He was very successful and decided to buy a Ferrari. The car's gearbox was weak and broke, and he decided to see Mr. Ferrari to deal with the situation personally. Il Commendatore told him to stick to building tractors and that he didn't know anything about cars. This was enough of a motivating factor for Mr. Lamborghini to go out and prove Enzo Ferrari wrong. To this day this is why Lamborghini's are known for their (comparatively) strong transmissions.

Now American Made John Deere is World renowed for itīs farm equipment.
Lambo has made heating oil burners tractors wine and cars...Tractors arenīt that well known actually as a brand. Even The Finnish Valtra is more renown on that field.

The story wenīt (according to some) that Ferrucio wasnīt satisfied with the clutch and itīs service price for changing it, the cluthc plate/assembly was priced astronomous to Ferrucio and he discovered later that it was the same assmebly he used in his tractors so off he wenīt with making cars as he saw a good profit there to be made..just like Don A selling his molds to everyone and splashing off himself his own creations after he sold one company after another.
