J Berman, Good for you! I remember a few post when you were trying to decide on what to get. When it's finished make sure you post a pic.

Thanks guys...........

Ryan: I know all about the Yellowfins. I have inspected quite a few of them here in Sarasota, at the Miami Boat Show last year, and in the Bahamas over the summer. They are very well made and well designed. I ruled them out because of several reasons including size, interior layout, and price.

Size - I wanted a boat under 30' as the largest boat I have had previously was a 21' Checkmate Starflite. May consider a 30’ – 36’ boat in the future.

Interior Layout - My wife "requested" some additional seating and a "less fishing" design (have to please the wife!!)

Price - wanted to stay under $90,000 fully equipped. I was able to do that with quite a few quality boats including Monza.

Performance – Yes, the Yellowfin is a wonderful performing boat and would meet my criteria; being a cruising speed in the 40 – 45 MPH range and a top end in the upper 60’s.

Mike:

Nice to hear from you again. I think you should do well in Yacht Trader and we are getting into the season now.

Our graphic package will be pretty basic, as I am not one to go crazy in that regard. The theme was originally going to be red, yellow and white but when I sold my red Checkmate I had to get red into the design and dropped the yellow.

What day are you planning to head to the Miami Show? I will be there on Saturday. If I miss you tell Richie we have corresponded.

I have some information on Concept that you may want to hear prior to any purchase. I could sent you an email or possibly discuss it with you at the show.

JBerman

Could you please share the info about Concept on the forum so all members can be aware of any potential problems/concerns that may affect anyone on the board.

Thanks
