sorry you had trouble with your engine. been there before.. If I could afford to run 400 gallons(what the boat holds) of race gas plus a methanol tank i would not be running a Hallett with a little 540. :)

Were these the Skaters that you have been discussing, Predator and so forth??? I ran at LOTO shortly after my boat was done. We didn't have it dialed or good props but we ran 148. A classic 36' Skater beat us "Hollow Point" was it's name. Good running Skater, can't remember what he ran but.. oh well. I know he never hit 175... lol :drink:
