Need a new trailer...suggestions?
My Nordic Custom Trailer made it a whopping 5 years. Previous owner dipped it in salt a few times and it is rusting from the inside out quite badly. In fact, it is to the point that I am concerned about trailering it.
Any ideas on a solid trailer for a 28' boat? Don't need to spend top dollar on a Myco since I will probably move to larger boat in the next year or 2. I am really thinking aluminum this time as well.....thoughts?

Aluminum is the only way to go. If you do not trailer a lot I would not spend the Myco money for 2 years. Look at Ameritrail or HITEC in Panama CIty FL.

If you are in salt water, go with aluminum. But the best manufacturer bar none is MYCO. They are not the least expensive, but they are the best........they stand behind their product....and that means everything.
MYCO makes a great looking aluminum trailer that will support your boat the way it should be supported. It is not a generic trailer that is bolted together to fit your boat.
If you are going to sell your boat for top dollar in a few years to a boat guy like me.....it better be on a MYCO.
Although there are a lot of people out there who don't really know boats and trailers.........which could make it a tough call.

I have an Aluminum Fastload. Delivered to me direct from the maunfacturer. (in FL like all the others) Aluminum is fine, just make sure they use oversized beams, use stainless steel hardware, Torsion axles, and the proper coupler and it will last! You will pay for these upgrades, but you NEED to get them!!

I had a TechSun trailer built a few months ago. It's aluminum with welded bunk supports and Kodiak brakes. Very reasonable price...

Had Loadmaster build me a trip torsion axle trailer for 29' boat. Led's for lights, did an awesome job. They also built Cuda's trailer. I paid $3000 cash OTD. Great people!
