Lets do this on the 21'st so people can make reservations. One thing to consider is the traffic, if you have to go back Sunday night anything heading south will be a nightmare 100,000 people heading home from the races.

I am going to try to make reservations tomorrow. I will let you know what I find for availability. I count ten of us interested so far including myself, and Shane if we can convince to to drive over.

SeaDated you may want to bring a hat and some gloves, just in case. I'll loan you a pair of skates, just in case the ice is still on the lake

Hello everyone, Just some local info for you: June 8-16 - the 79th Annual Loudon Classic [Bike Week], July 19-21 - Nascar Winston Cup at NHIS. This info can be found at www.Laconia-Weirs.org/index.html, then click on Event Calendar. The car race weekend is another tough weekend for rooms in the local area, it gets very congested at times around the lakes region. The web site lists each months listings. Is KN still going to check rooms? I can if you want as its all a local call for me. Who might be interested in rooms and how many and "I can let the fingers do the walking" for you? Keep the string going on this. Lookin for the snow this weekend to get the sleds out!!! BRRRR! Have a good one!!

The ROPA poker run on Seneca Lake is that weekend. I might be able to swing the following weekend as originally mentioned.

Hey guys looking for some more feedback on the date. I called around no one I talked to has any vacancys. All booked for the race. Winni did you try to find any rooms? I can come down for the day, so this is fine for me. I know not everyone will be able to make the day we pick. I 'm just trying to pick the best day for the most people. We can also do a couple of get togethers. The one were planning in July and one either in June of August. What do you guys think.

Thanks Kirk

Hi all, Here's the results from tonight's phone calls: "Bad weekend to find rooms due to the Nascar races!!" [all requests were for double occupancy] Naswa @ Weirs Beach, waterfront 139., 89. on the backside of the same building, 99. across street w/balcony looking at channel [www.naswa.com], Christmas Island, not available, Margate Resort, completely booked for the weekend, Silver Sands Marina-closed till summer, Landmark Hotel-downtown Laconia, 795. for 3 night minimum stay due to races, Bartons Hotel-closed till summer, Proctors Hotel--sold out!!!!! Any suggestions for another date or show and drive back the same day? There is always tenting!! Some areas on the water on the north side of the lake, you have to moor your boat up the road a bit-NAH!!!... You guys make the call!!!

More then likely I will just be up for the day. I only live about 2 hours away. However if we start to drink I will just sleep in the boat

If the following weekend (28-30) is better, I may still be able to make the change. I will need to know soon. If the date is pushed back I run the Seneca Lake trip on the 21st with the Rochester folks.

Anyone else have some feedback on this. I can trailer down for the day. Jon will come up for the day. Winni lives there and SeaDated has a place to stay. That gives us 4. Lets give it a couple of days for some more feedback. Then pick a final date.

SeaDated how hard would it be to change your plans. Depending on who else is interested the 28th may be a better day. But if no one else has a problem with the 21st we will leave it at that.
