We picked up speed at this height and experienced way less porpoising, with the addition of a small amount of hull hook removal we completely cured our porpoising .

Before you spend a ton of time and money like we did and many others before us re-rigging our heavy Cigarettes to lighter stepped boat specs, I would give Tres Martin a call all these boats are a little bit different.
He was the one that finally suggested we lower our drives 1/2" deeper into the water than stock. He was dead nuts on, we went from 83 to 85mph and running like flipper, to a best of 94+mph GPS with new X vr our 2" shortie drives, and she requires zero tab at cruise speeds. Good Luck!

The first thing I did was call Tres Martin. He said bring it down,he could take care of it. I'm a poor working stiff tho..So I cant..
I dont blame him a bit..Thats how he makes his living
