Re: apache!

It says 3a's, but no drives??? They must mean "set up for".

STRAIGHTPRIORITY 01-24-2006 12:31 PM

Re: apache!

what else will bolt up to a 3a set up? i guess filling and recutting for #6's would be the best solution???

A number 3 boat was advertised in Az. last month for $79,900 and it had big NA Teague engines,,, I would think that it will cost all of that to buy/build this one ,,,, the only advantage is that you will have it your way!!! The green cockpit has to go ,,, but it looks like the dash is just a filler so it might not be real hard to make it a pleasure cockpit ,,,,, still ,,, there are not many of them left ---- could be a deal, if ya can do some of the work yourself!!

You talking about the 41' with the indian head down the side in blues/rest of the boat white? That boat belong (s) to the owner of Savage Marine in Havasu. The motors/drives were completely re-done. It was bought from Jim Neely who got it back east. Supposidly it was originally from Europe and was partial sunk. 80k for that boat was an awesome deal since he paid more for it AND put all that work into it.

Re: apache!

That boat is sick!~

What I can't understand is why people buy go-fast boats with NO cabin?
All that speed to loosen the bikini strings...gone to waste!
I'll take a couple MPH top-end loss for a cozy stabbin cabin any day!

ugly, needs too much $$ to make it right if you can't do it yourself

That's a loaded question

They are refering to an ad that was placed in several magazines that talked about the all new apache. No pic was offered in the ad....the ads continued to run time and time again w/no pics or further info.

However, the newest Apache that I've seen was a Mcmanus (Tsunami). Though he is not the one that was advertising in the mag.

Re: apache!

I think thats a safe statement ,,, If ya want a new Apache ,, Call Mr Mcmanus, he can and will build the new Apache !!

This boat is 2 miles from my house. If anyone has any questions about it I will see what I can find out. I have seen it under cover in the parking lot. It has the raised hatches for blower motors and the transom is cut for 3a's. Thats about all I could tell with the cover on it.

Not sure what the deal is but I bought some bolsters and rear seat from the previous owner. He is a nice guy. I could probably dig up his number if anyone is serious about buying it.
