Morons ..chopped up a collectors item to get replaceable hardware.
Never saw eye to eye with him politicaly , but I feel for the guy.

Cat, You got a ride this summer so dont worry. :cool: Motor will be back in a few weeks and we will dial Slim in soon.... Be more than happy to help with anything you need to get yours back up and running..... The SBRT crew will help out in any way we can.... We got plenty of guys with a bunch of stuff that can help... call me when you get her back and I will bring a 6 pack over and we can assess the damage. :(

Ah okay, the boat was found. Man, that sucks about what they did to it. Differences aside, it's a terrible thing to be ripped off and see your pride and joy defaced. :( :(

No harm, I hate to see this happen to anybody. I hoped to open this thread and read some good news. It kills me to hear that the boat is ripped up. I hope the scumbags are caught. Catman I hope some good luck turns your way.

They srole a couple boats around here a few years back and they took a chainsaw and just cut around the transom assy. and down the bottom around the motors and took em out through the bottom :(

Catman went to see his boat today.

Here is what he told me...they stripped the whole cockpit, yanked all the fuel tanks took the engine, hatch,gauges, gear lever, foot throttle, radio speakers engine bay was stripped nothing left, stripped axles and lights off the trailer, the only good thing so far is that there appears to be no hull damage.

Sorry to hear about anyone getting their boat stolen....Did he say where it was found Trout? How far from where it was stolen is what I am wandering....I deliver boats to Dallas area all the time so I am curious about the details.

catmando what did you do with the hull? I have a great glass guy and wire guy here in OK. Also have a few parts around if you were to convert it to Chevy power. If you have the hull, I could set it up in the shop and have you ready for next summer.
