help... need part for trim pump motor on merc 150 ob anyone a dealer of trim pump reb
i need a part that 2 local dealers dont have. they told me they cant get it from merc either. i have a 89 merc 150 the electric motor on the trim pump is the square body style. when you remove the top cap where the brushes are. there is a round spring type washer(like you would find on the axle of a kids toy car to hold the wheel on the axle) the clip sits in the top cap and the bronze/brass bushing the armatuer spins in is centered by this washer. any body have an old trim pump or a selection of spring clip locking tab washers that they can help me out with? thx ratman

Phil - is this a Merc specific part?
Almost sounds like something you could get through McMaster-Carr.
