Hot Boat magazine comming to Virginia
I have talked to a friend at Lake Anna who has been talking to Hot boat . Jack says he has firmed up that hot boat will be doing areial photos and photos at a gathering at his Lake Anna home on June 17 2006. The areial photos will be done at 11 am as to the best lighting conditions. He has asked me to post this. Hot Boat wants to get as many larger boats as possible for the photos. Jack is more of a jet boater and has had 4 regattas at his home. There were 72 jet boats from all over at his last one in September. I will pass more info as I get it from Jack.

well Rich.. Jack and Bladen have working on it pretty hard Jack has alot of ties. I'll beleive it when I see it too but,I won't miss it if it is true. It sounds like a great gathering anyway. the last regatta was a great timeWhy have a party at your dock the party will be at Jacks. Jack is having a pig roast and a fish fry that day for everyone and if you have been to either his pig roast or fish fry you wouldn't want to miss it .

A great place to flush your stuff after a summer of saltwater. Watch the shallow water and low bridges. Duke's creek marina has a good ramp but very steep. No bars on the lake either but lots of party coves. The islands by the power plant are one of the great hangouts as also the 'sandbar'.
Enjoy all some real fast boats there easy triple digits.
Just got off the phone with Joe and the weekend is June 11. Not the 17. Still in the works..........
Check the Hot Boat forums for the info. Some great photos and video.

Re: Hot Boat magazine comming to Virginia
Hey Scott, Joe has told me about you can't wait to meet you at the Chill Out, and Yes the same regatta they have had for a couple of years it keeps growing I Have a house just a couple of doors down from Jacks and can look across the lake and see Joe's next door neighbors house. Lake Anna is just west of fredricksburg Virginia about 20 miles off interstate 95. Yes I am talking of Joe Bladen ( he was my best man at my wedding 2 years ago) I can't believe just how small of a world it is when you start talking to other people
