The strange thing about this deal was that I talked to both Beav and the owner of the boat. So I know the boat was for sale through Beav but he just was not honest about the price.

Hey if anyone wants to become Beavboats.com you can legally. According to sunbiz.org he didn't renew his fictious name filing so for a small fee you too can become beavboats.com and prevent him from using the name in Florida. I hate to break it to you, but beav is a notorious boat scamming, swindling, lieing P.O.S.!
The boat's pictured in most of his ads are stolen images off of boattrader, OSO and many others.
Lots of guys on OSO have found their boat for sale on his site, even though obviously they are not for sale, and certainly not with beav.

Sorry to hear about it Don, if you have the owners # you should call him for 2 reasons, to let him know about Beavboats, and maybe broker the deal yourself. I'm sure he wouldnt mind knowing that he was lied to as well...if you and he can come to terms all may work out...Rob
