Trailer Vendors
Looking for a triple axle aluminum I-Beam and have narrowed down into the following vendors;
TechSun Nextrail Sportline (Loadmaster) Hi-Tech Can anyone provide feedback/experiences? Issue is that I am trying spend as little as possible because I want to upgrade to a larger boat in the next year or two however, do not want the future owner to have a crap trailer. In case your wondering, I want a triple axle as Nordics come with triple and I want to maintain the look - even though a 7500 lb tandem would work fine. Thanks for feeback.... |

Were you unhappy with the trailer that came from Nordic?

Re: Trailer Vendors
Not at all....it is really a nice looking trailer. The issue is that the previous owner dipped it in salt water a few times and it is deteriorating badly. I have had several folks tell me it is unsafe and in VA you need an inspection sticker on trailers that have brakes and I am having trouble finding someone to pass it :(

That really stinks. Sick Nordic's trailer is holding up pretty well going in and out of the salt water up here. It looks like a pretty beaffy trailer.... And towed the boat well. |

Re: Trailer Vendors
Steve - great to hear from you! Boat is doing great however, trailer is toast. Yes, I did actually look at them...someone on the board pointed me there. I never got to pricing as I tried to stick with larger manufacturers as it seems they can be more competitive with pricing. What do you know of them?

I bought a Hi-Tech trailer this year for my boat and Love it!!! I would highly recommend these people for a trailer. They were great to deal with. Craig |

Try 1stcoasttrailers.com 1-800-293-4586 They are Loadmaster trailers but they are cheaper than loadmaster sells them. I don't know how but they are. I bought one a year ago and my buddy just bought one. THE CHEAPEST PEOPLE!

electric over hyd. disc brakes radial tires-aluminum wheels extra middle and front center bunks full-frame trailer with a removable drive guard led lights diamond plate fenders and step plates spare tire and wheel $8 G's out the door. I think that the base price was like $5600 before the "extras". |

Re: Trailer Vendors
i bought a new loadmaster in 2003 for my 38 donzi that is just under 11k pounds dry and have really liked the way it tows. i travel 7 hours roughly one way on weekends and happy with it. i had one axle problem and they were excellent to work with and paid for the bill in full. it was under 7k out the door.

Re: Trailer Vendors
I just had a TechSun built for my Thoroughbred. Excellent quality. They welded the bunk supports, instead of bolting them. Looks very trick and it less flexible than bolting. I'm very happy with mine...
