Sometimes you have to read between the lines, sometimes you just have to read....... :rolleyes:

I believe it was Extreme Boats, or PRA, but there was an ad this past fall for an "under construction" OL(?) that said "MERC POWER/ 2x720"....... :eek:

Looking for the exact issue now....... :mad:

I don't personallyknow that Merc will debut a 300Xs Optimax....but there are alot of rumors going around. Especially over on screamandfly.com, and those boys know their outboards.

I'll be at the show on Thursday, so I'll let you know.

then again you could be right. eninrude has the e-tec torqe monster. and yamaha has the 300 hpdi mercury might do a 300xs to play catch up while they refine a big verado. its all guesswork until thursday.
