Newbie (Former Lurker)
 

Been a lurker for years. Never joined but followed a lot. Decided time to jump in. Some history:
First "owned" Boat - 14 Larson with 135 Evinrude, got beat changed to 235 Evinrude.
Second - 21 Seaswirl with 302 Ford/OMC
Third - 23 Tahiti with 350 Chev and jet
Fourth - 28 Ranger with 454 and jet
Fifth - 28 Ranger with 454 and Mercruiser
etc, etc, etc

Current:
43' Black Thunder, was Bill and Patti's (43Thunder) with Cobra's and 3A's.
39' Chris Scorpion with 540's and TRS's
24' Marlin Empress with 502 and Bravo
10' Bonanza with 50 Merc

Wife says have to downsize the fleet this year since the purchase of the Black Thunder so you may see some in the classifieds. Thought we were going to Miami for the show but things haven't worked out so if we do it will be last minute scramble. Have fun, Ratickle

WOW. Nice inventory. Welcome to the board. Pics are always welcome. When posting, limit the text to 3 lines and post a ton of pictures. I like many can't read very well and like to look at pictures. I think I am up to a 3rd grade reading level. :D

Was on Gun Lake then moved to Holland. Kept the Scorpion at the Yacht Basin until last year, launch the Empress mostly at Pigeon Lake, just got the Black Thunder, haven't used the Bonanza since moved off Gun. When not on our boats usually run around with Hotrodder on his Cary.

Not sure about the reading level of OSO in general, but do know that spelling and grammar ranks at about a 3rd grade level for some on here... :D

Never could figure out how a guy could afford a half million dollar boat, but doesn't know how to spell or put words on paper correctly?? :D

Now, I need to run spell check real quick before I go... :D

When we moved off Gun, we sold the Boston Whaler, 28 Sanpan Pontoon, 10' GW Invader, and both SeaDoo XP's. Sure do miss living on the lake. Only 10 seconds to speed.

Hey everybody, I've been a lurker too... Thanks for the PM Ratickle.

Spending too much time on the technical Q&A side. All indications outside are saying I need to start working harder on getting the boat ready! Running a 1990 Baja with a home built 540 (built and dyno'd last winter). Looking forward to seeing West Mich. OSOers this summer :cool:
