Here is one I get when I am out in my 69 Camaro, I know that it is off subject but it bugs the crap out of me. "Thats a nice car!, I use to have one just like it, 66 right ?"

My favorite was by a guy that was watching me land the boat. He said only one sentance: "Your boat ROCKS man!" I was beaming. 
My second favorite was by a couple that was launching next to us. I launched the cat and because the ramp was so busy the mrs backed it out and idled 100' away while I parked the trailer. I came back down the dock and she dropped it into gear and came straight in. She was at a high idle and the boat was moving too fast. Way too fast. I called out for her to drop it into reverse, but she had the same thought and shifted just as I called out. The boat slowed and stopped about a foot from the dock. With the boat still in reverse I stepped onto the bow and sat in the passengers seat while she backed away. As I stepped down I hear the husband next to us remark to his wife "Now why can't you do that?". I laughed because he didn't realize how close she came to crashing the boat.

Well, first I live in the land of Bass boats and Sea Rays, so here it goes:
First the bass boaters at the dock:
Is at yourn? (translation, is that yours)
How fasitgo (how fast does it go sir)
emer expensuv aint dem (those boats are expensive are they not?)
I goda buddy witha allison, itle fly (my good friend has an Allison bass boat that will go quite fast)
Have a goodin (have a great day on the water my friend)
Now for the Sea Ray cruiser crowd:
It is necessary to be that loud? (yes mam, it got your attention didn't it?)
Why not buy a cruiser? (because I did not want one, duh)
Why do you need to go that fast? (what do you mean, this is my cruising speed?)
why do you always have a bunch of girls with you? (because they don't want to ride with your slow a$$)

We had a skater at the dock with the batteries on the deck ( dont know why) and a lady strolls up and says."is that an electric boat? ( yes the motors are running) does it go as fast as rcing boats?" It had 850's and it was not a RACE boat!!!!!

About 8 years ago I ran a Formula with stock motors that topped out around 75MPH. Being the honest guy I am, that was what I was telling people and they often looked disappointed as the boat looked much faster.
One day this 10 year old kid came running up to me - Mister, mister how fast does your boat go? So to have a little fun I said 110 MPH !! Wow, his eyes light up.
Next day kid shows up at the marina with his dad in tow. Daddy, daddy, this is the boat that goes 110 MPH!!
Dad looks at me and says " ya, sure and rolls his eyes."
