Backing my 311 Formula down the boat ramp @ Lake Mitchell in AL, local drunk comes up and says "what kind of fish you catch with that thing". Answer, "we just fast troll for pink snapper". It took him about 5 min to figure it out. Joe Murray. When they ask how much I just ask them their annual income and I will tell you a multiplier. That usually stops them. Then how much fuel ect, ect. Joe Murray

Do you run it with all 4 engines on at once? Nah, I usually keep one or two of them just for spares.

About 10 years ago I was sitting in my 22' Talon tunnel hull with twin 2.5's as my wife was backing it down the ramp. This old guy fishing right next to the ramp was just staring at the engines, then the boat, then the engines, then looks me right in the eyes and says: "Damn! You must want to get there NOW!" I kind of chuckled and said, "Yea.. I guess so."
I always thought that was a funny line, especially coming from this old guy.
