Re: The New Lubejobs
In all honesty.. That is going to be a beautiful boat. Cant wait to see pics of the finished product. It will definately stand out.

Re: The New Lubejobs
OK, maybe I will change the Magenta. Truthfully, we are not done choosing colors. Eddy from Guardado is taking all the colors I picked and the ones he and Chris from Grafik EFX are suggesting, they are painting 12" x 12" panels for me so I can see the actaul colors. The magenta was a nice contrast. It may end up being Tangelo or even something else. I do apprecaite all the feedback. I look at it this way, Chris has never done a boat that didn't look incredible. They are saying this is one if not the most exotic one they've done espically with some new paint tecniques they are using and 100's of hours of prep and air brush work. I'm sure they won't put a color that will take away from the boat.

Re: The New Lubejobs
I may go with a pearl Red instead. Will that be better?

Awesome!

Re: The New Lubejobs
That majenta breaks up the colors nicely and gives the paint some punch.

Re: The New Lubejobs
That's what I thought as well. I have looked at so many proofs and so many colors, it gets so confusing. It gets worse when you ask for someones opinion. You can absolutely love a design, have someone else look at it and point something out they don't like (like the Magenta) then you start reanalyzing the whole design all over again. That's why i turned it over to Chris and Eddy. This can make you nuts! Leave it to the professionals!

Gino, I am going through the same headaches right now....The paint scheme and colors we picked 6 weeks ago have evolved into something totally different and I am mentally spent !!! :( I think like you I will just let the paint guy decide and hope for the best. Good Luck, Erik :drink: :drink: :drink: Maybe after a few it will turnout :drink: |
Re: The New Lubejobs
Look at it this way, when the guy paints the boat it will look somewhat different then the rendering. More detail, more airbrushing, details that could not have been seen on the rendering. I went through that on my 04' 4300.XCESS WENESS. Same thing on the 4300 Chris was designing before the storm. I look at it now, and it doesnt do much for me, but dont want to go through the process of redesigning, and Im sure Chris doesnt want to either. I actually feel once the boat is being painted the professional side will come out in the painter to make it look the way it is suppose to be. I gave the painter free reign to make it all happened, and I could not have been more pleased in the detail that I recieved. Good luck Gino, it's alot of fun. :D Jeff
