Anyone familar with Hinckley Yachts

Re: Anyone familar with Hinckley Yachts
Hinckleys are high end, top dollar stuff. you can't go wrong.
if you like the looks and the finish but are not necessarily after jet propulsion, take a look at San Juan boats as well...
Billy Joel's Shelter Island stuff is nice but comes with gas engines and outdrives. A definite no-no on this type of boat. Not that it performs badly but imagine having diesels and V-drive shafts on your Cig Tiger... who would you sell her to?

I've seen the San Juan up close and its real nice too.
There is a yard in Jupiter, across the canal from 'Shrimpers' where there are a bunch all lined up like toys... nice sight. I believe its a service shop, but I could be wrong.

Duh... sorry about that. I was just there sunday.
My father keeps his boat right there, but closer to the inlet.

Ahh yes. Some of you may recall during the last Presidential Election, the man representing the "Party of the Working Man"...the poor, the unfed and unsheltered and unlucky...Mr. John Kerry...was putzing around in his Picnic boat on weekends. Freakin' politicians.

They still make sailboats. They start at the 42 and go up to the 70

The Hinckleys are really nice but it sat 3 boats away to a Stancraft at the Seattle show, and the Stancraft SMOKED IT!!!
My buddy was drooling on the Hink and I said, "you like that? You'll flip out when you see this", and it blew his friggn mind, and mine too the quality is way beyond anythng I ever saw, small, family owned shop, been around since the 1930s
Even with the Hinkley there is no comparison, the Stanwood is STUNNING.
And it's still probably 30% less $$ then the Hink.
You may have to wait in line for one though.

you can't believe how nice these are, and the 35' is 7500 lbs rigged.
The Starchaser and the Missle, (not pictured) are awesome
you owe it to yourself to contact these guys.
The 35' w side by side 750 hps and bravos would be unreal!!!
