Anyone familar with Hinckley Yachts
Was looking at the 36 Picnic boat at the Miami show last weekend and really liked the boat. Anyone have one, know anything about them? The T40 with twin diesels would be the one for me, but the single jet 36 was very cool as well.

They are unreal. They make everything at the factory. They even pour/make their own cleats...

Re: Anyone familar with Hinckley Yachts
My father had a Hinckley for years. Best boat he ever owned. The company is very good to work with and their Satellite yard in Southwest Habor (or was it Bar Harbor) is very good. The quality of the work is unreal. The quality of the boats is top notch. The crew of people that work there are great. They are TRUE Mainers. My father complained that he could not hear the low oil preasure alarm. As a joke they put a old school bell in the boat. When my father and I went down and started the boat they all hid around the corner. We about jumped overboard when we started it. Funny thing is we actually kept it in there. Had to have a cut off switch for when we left habors in the am it was that loud!!! I have been on a few of the boats that you are looking at. If that is the type of boat that you want you WILL be happy.

I am on 95 from Maine into Massachusetts almost every day. Probably see one of these (new and used) in transit every other week. They are phenomenal even on the back of a flatbed 18 wheeler!
