I would put most of the fault there. JC owns the rights to the Key West location. He makes the rules. Last year he said OSS guys had to pay for a SBI membership and race 2 SBI races to be in the Worlds.

I wonder why OPA can get along with both SBI and OSS maybe they should take over the Worlds then everyone could show up :D

Unfortunately when APBA assigned the rights to organize their races to SBI I think it sealed the fate of OSS; two against one. Two groups are for profit and one is not ...................

It can be real cold in november, remember biloxi about 4 yrs ago, it was 32.

APBA had the worlds in Biloxi twice and Orange beach once. SBI had there worlds in New Orleans as well once. Lets just hope for good weather. It's too bad this can't be worked out.

So I guess that any team that wants to race Key West should get to do so for free???? Is OSS waiving their equipment registration? Are they waiving their 2 race min for the Destin worlds? I mean really, lets get over it. This is about egos, pure and simple. While OSS may be "not for profit" I guarantee you that its balance sheet shows tremendous contributions from the same few guys. I think the post above said it best.... who cares? Its always a clusterphuk, always complaining, always sniping. and at the end of the day its the same few guys racing the same few guys because the new guys get chased off. This is club racing at best. If this were asphalt cars it would be your local circle track without the redneck fist fights (which make the show). I'll be in Key West too and if there are OSS teams there,great!! If not who cares??? I hardly think it is out of line for JC to ask for some financial contribution though..............

Some yes, of course but how much? I wouldn't call it egos, I call it a power play. JC wants everyone in his SBI organization.

OK, so the OSS folks dont want to actually have to race some of the SBI races? To be a true worlds, they must all race together at some point in the season, otherwise screw the season, lets just have em all show up and have one race a year...
