Off to Daytona

Well, I need to defrost my Upstate NY blood, so I am off to Daytona. My first trip to Florida, so I'm looking for some OFOers advice on "must do/see". I'd love to check out some hot boats and am told it won't be hard to find some. Any suggestions? I will be travelling to Port St. Lucie, and then back up to Daytona. :drink:

I just got back from visiting some friend's in St Cloud. I was trying to make it back for this weekend too for bike week, and to take the Velocity out on the ICW........but work is just a bit too crazy for consecutive weekends in Florida. :(

I was sitting at the bridge on Hwy 44 eating lunch today, and there are tons of bikes coming over the bridge, headed to Daytona. I've got a lot of friends in town, some staying with us. We are roasting oysters and eating shrimp tomorrow night, if anyone wants to stop in.

McGary, what Velocity are you talking about. You didn't sell the Critter did you?

My buddy Wayne just bought a 29 last year. Purple \ yellow. They were out on the ICW yesterday (without me, damn job). I just checked the Velocity site, and this very well may be Wayne's boat: http://www.velocityboats.com/images/...Pics%20193.jpg

Still got the Crit'. Didn't have the time to get it wet last year, but my job is closer to home this year, and i VOW to hit the water. I think i may kiss 80 with a 25" prop in place of my 23 :)

I will more than likely be headed to Daytona at some point or 3 in the next week as well... itsnice when its only a 45 minute ride, and yet dont have to deal with everything that goes on all week.
